Kokanee Park

Walked along the beach at Kokanee Park. Gotta love sunny days!

This was about 10:30 in the morning. Temperature hovered around 1 degree but warm enough to wear just a hoody. Although my fingers were a bit cold!

I am so mesmerized by the sun dappiling on the water and the detail of the waves.

So Arlene points out the panorama feature on her phone and I said, wait a minute ... I think I can do that too! So cool...

This is a piece of ice on the rock. Quite the balancing act!

....and here I was trying to capture the ice. Such a fine layer...

I'm still finding it difficult to focus when I zoom...and with the sun shining. I thought I should start wearing a cap to shade the camera a bit or get a third hand!

Lakeside Park

I want to learn how to use my camera. I have had my camera for a little over a year now and am still struggling with some of the settings. This is my way of keeping a journal with notes so I can learn from my mistakes.

If you are following me, please feel free to make suggestions. Be gentle :-)
Thanks.

Yuna and I went for a walk along Lakeside Park.

First time using Lightroom. I have a 30 day trial on my iPad. It has limited controls compared to the PC. But I like working on my iPad.

I signed up for an on-line course through Crafsty and for $23 I managed to pick up a few tricks. Spent the morning and whizzed through the first 5 lessons.
Then I had to get practising! The settings that I played with were the iso, Fstops and the plus/minus
