Rod Stewart
What a concert! What a great opportunity to play with my camera!
Rod Stewart with a cast on his foot, has a potty mouth with a British accent and can still twitch his butt at 73! ððð
His band has a #$@#load of talent. Music lessons sure paid off for them! One gal played the violin, harp, percussion, banjo and synthesizer...like wow, wow, wow...
Out of 580 pics taken I only worked on 120...not all posted ð
What better band to open his concert

Thanksgiving
One of the bestest things ever is being able to take off at a moments notice...ok perhaps a few days notice in this case ð
We took a break and went for a drive up to a viewpoint above McBride.
I was bummed that I couldn’t make it up to the real waterfalls so had to settle for the runoff
Love the pattern in the bark..how it twists around the trunk
...oh those locals...
...she likes to climb this one
...troublemakers...
Photobombed
Trying to work the timer on the camera...bit tricky...
....so what did one drummer say to the other drummer?...
The food and company was awesome and we came home relaxed and feeling grateful.
We invited ourselves to visit our good friends in McBride for Thanksgiving. We have traditionally stayed home by ourselves or with International students at the time. McBride is a very small community 2 hrs East of Prince George or 1 hr West of Valemount. The valley is very pretty and home to several farms.
It’s a 10 hr trek to this neck of the woods so we decided to break it up some by overnighting in Kelowna (both ways) cause we can now. We like to stay at the Ramada and this is what greeted us upon checkin.
Which also meant an upgrade and a plate of fruit and cookies!
Totally awesome except the jacuzzi tub was really hard for me to climb in and out of! Lol...not a pretty picture ðĪŠ
One thing that is traditional whenever we girls get together is a project of some sort. This time we made wallets. They were a little tricky for me and I am so glad that I brought extra fabric. I love love mine!

Took a drive to the Ancient Forest which is half way to Prince George. What a beautiful place and they have done an amazing job of putting in a boardwalk. Made it quite easy for someone like me to walk it.....and it was another great opportunity to take pictures imagine that!
