Pussywillow and bench gifts from some very good friends...💖
Starts hardening off on front deck
These are the old strawberry boxes from the back deck...look much better here
Because the tomato plants were not ready for the bales, I took the opportunity to prepare a bit better. I set up the watering via the drip and made a “fort”. Previous experience tomatoes didn’t like the strong sun and cold nights. I checked around and found shade cloth to be very expensive. I remembered some fabric from Ruth's stash...worked out beautifully...thank you Ruth.
Rhubarb...so excited to have this much for the first picking...this is what happens when you water?!
I bought this pepper plant from Canadian tire 2 weeks ago
This one came from the Family Tree greenhouse in Thrums
Hanging basket from Georamas
Upside down tomato pots
....another from Georamas
This hanging basket is a very special gift from someone very dear to me and I am very grateful.... Namaste
Potato tower... because of the straw mulch on top I ended up with a whole lots of oats too!
I am really excited to unveil these
This is one potato seed in this bucket
Bucket contains compost...supposed to be a worm tower...I shall peek another day
Radishes amongst carrots
Sunflowers
Peas in pots
Cukes
My cucumber starts were not a huge success so I had some seed left and replanted. Within a few days they popped up and was able to transplant them here!
My zucchini was very sad but they seem to be doing well. I see new life...
Carrots in a bucket
My tent
Cukes from a nursery
My replant
White marigolds
Sweet Pumpkins...thanks Pam...I’m sorry the patty pans did not survive

I waited 2 weeks after conditioning was done. The temp of the bales was only around 60...today it was 100! So I have taken a chance and planted...managed to dig pretty deep and dropped some of the soil from the start pots and planted the Toms right up to the top leaves. 17 bales, 2 Toms and 3 hot pepper plants per bale....yikes!
I think that it’s been only 10 days since I planted most of these and I wanted to show how fast stuff has grown.
Radishes were planted in a pot with peas and I was so excited to harvest these!

The potato vine is facing the window so I see it when I’m working at the kitchen sink 💖
