Last of the Garden

I can't believe it....just harvested the last of the kale and brusselsprouts! So yummy...and it's Nov 19th.

The snow line is definitely coming down the mountain and I am dreading the thought of the cold weather. I am however looking forward to some more indoor projects that I have in mind. I keep finding such cool ideas on Pinterest and I gather all the supplies and then get sidetracked! Too funny.

Picked up 20 lbs of apples in Keremeos on our way home from Vancouver last week. So I made a couple of apple pies and put them in the freezer. Made some apple pie in a jar (recipe on Pinterest). Perfect for school lunches. Then I made 5 pints of applesauce in the crockpot... Cinnamon sticks, vanilla bean, turmeric and honey. Fantastic! Will definitely be making more of this today. The house smells so nice...
