Japan 2017

Wow I had only worked on 250 pics in Lightroom/photoshop/Nik the past few days. I had uploaded at least 1000 pics. But then there were the doubles, triples, and the what was I thinking ones!

I posted the most relevant ones on my other blog and here I am going to post some fun ones. I really learned to step out of my comfort zone and kept telling myself that every picture is what you make of it. When I look at what's posted online there are some amazing and crazy shots.

I was very fortunate to travel to Japan with our present Homestay. Her mom was very gracious and generous of her time and I appreciated all the driving she did for me.

  1. Great shots. Lots to look at. I love the ocean. The shots of the waves resonate with me. I particularly like the lighting on these. Interesting to get a first hand look at the narrow streets. They tell the story of everyday life in The rural parts of Japan. So does the bicycle image. I bet bicycle mechanics do a good business in Japan. Your personal views is flecked in your compositions and the way you see things. How one sees and composition is ever developing. Thee image of the man at the bus stop through the patterned glass is cool. Yes I said cool. The seascape with the cove lite by the sun is great. A big part of the photographic art is painting with light. This image is right on tthe ack with that as the light draws my eye right to the houses. I love it.
