March Projects

Covid-19 pandemic is full blown and is frightening. I dropped into the mall quickly this morning to pick up cat food and basics at Save-On-Foods . It was eerily quiet with most stores closed. The pet store had red tape down on the floor that kept you from wandering the store and staff greeted you saying they would get items for you. Luckily I had phoned ahead and they had my cat food ready for pickup. Save-On-Foods had a long line up outside of the doors before letting you in. So many at a time. I quickly bought tp, milk, eggs and bread and a couple vegs. Couldn’t even decide what to get! Any appts are being cancelled unless for emergencies and we are all social distancing.

So here I am sewcial distancing in my studio. On those few warm sunnydays I open up the doors and let the fresh air in while I have my machines just a humming 🥴

Latest Baby quilt for the Hospital Auxiliary just needs the binding and a label

I made this reading pillow for a young friend who came home last month with 4 medals in the special olympics. Haven’t been able to give it to him yet.
